I have been living on the Big Island of Hawaii for 21 years and off and on for 30 years.
I have been in real-estate almost forever ;). I started buying and selling homes in California in 1990. then here inn Kona.
I used to buy, redo, and sell homes and condos for myself. As friends asked me to help them buy or sell their homes, it became a business and I became a real estate agent.
I joined Aloha Kona Realty Inc. in 2006 due to the integrity and solid reputation of the business. I just became partner/ owner in 2015 and am very excited about the people working here and the future of this company.
After listening and learning what a client's needs are, I pride myself on being truthful and sometimes actually talking clients out of buying things if it does not suit their needs. Some buyers tend to get caught up in the buying of things and forget their priorities and need someone like me to protect them and keep them focused. Most importantly, I like my clients to be happy with their decision and not make a hasty decision.
I will also tell the seller the truth of price point depending on when they want to sell a property. Market Analysis is a key tool to use to ensure being a good agent.
I answer my phone 95% of the time - if not I get back to you asap. This is hard to find, and why I became a Realtor myself. When I was selling my properties it was not always easy to find a Realtor who would answer their phones, much less get back to you.
I grew up in the service industry and have learned by experience that treating people like you like to be treated, helps everyone in being successful in making a very important, emotional and economical decision.
